Serving in one of the roles on our summer team is a fantastic opportunity to make a transformational impact in the lives of children (and in your own life too!) It’s a chance for service and for growth in your own skills and relationship with God, with campers, and with the rest of the team. The specific roles are briefly described below and the buttons take you to more details and links to express your own interest or refer qualified candidates!

High school students (and sometimes older middle schoolers) can volunteer as junior counselors or work crew at one or more of the specific locations. While a volunteer role, serving in either of these roles is a significant responsibility and leadership experience.

Young adults (graduated from HS, often but not required to be college students) work the full 8-week summer as senior counselors. Senior counselors are the core of our camp program, teaching and leading every aspect of the day from sports to Bible study. The team of senior counselors work together, traveling from site to site throughout the summer

Each Senior counselor team has a head counselor to lead the team and manage daily camp operations at each site. Head counselors are young adults with significant camp experience, preferably at SB2W, but could also be a quick learner with extensive experience at other camps.
